"Thames Mudlarking, Searching for London's Lost Treasures"

King's Church, Lewes

We had a great time in Lewes with over 500 people attending our event, run in association with Hands on History. Attendees included large numbers of eager younger people from both the Weald and Brighton YAC clubs. Thanks to everyone who helped, including the 32 Thames Mudlark exhibitors (all of whom were both knowledgeable and enthusiastic), the Sussex Portable Antiquities Scheme team, and all who came to see and handle amazing discoveries from the Thames. For those who missed it, we are planning a repeat event in March 2027 - not to be missed !!
