Sussex Archaeology Symposium 2022

Saturday, 19th March

Lewes, East Sussex

We are now taking bookings for our next annual Sussex Archaeology Symposium.  This in-person event promises to be an interesting day, packed with plenty of experienced speakers giving updates on their latest investigations into the archaeology of Sussex.

We'll be looking at the archaeology of the Cuckmere Valley, learning about the new National Trust 'Changing Chalk' project, finding out about Bronze Age Sussex Loops, understanding how prehistoric buildings were constructed, looking at Roman building stone use in Sussex, catching up with the recent excavations of the Worthing and Hastings Archaeological Societies, finding out what was discovered at Ashington Roman villa, learning about the investigations at St. Nicholas's Church, Angmering, and discovering the hidden archaeology of a Tudor house in Pevensey.

Please see below for the full programme.  You can download a PDF of the booking form and a copy of the pre-order lunch menu in the 'Download Form' circles below
